The wonderful hospitality of Vivanh, the hostess, and everyone (and the cats) here made my stay so pleasant! A couple of very nice restaurants around. The place itself is charming: in colonial style and by the river, the room is cool, airy and have terrace looking over the backyard. the night is so quiet that you hear insects chirping. The location is a bit off from center, but it's an easy distance and very nice by bike/scooter or ferry.

Villa Ban Lakkham is a 5-minute walk to Phu Si Mountain and National Museum. Luang Prabang Airport is a 15-minute drive away. We booked one of the upstairs rooms with a river view, The room was so beautiful and comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly and always helped us with all of our questions and needs. The breakfast on the riverbank was the perfect way to start the day. The views are incredible. The choices for breakfast were great and we were always well fed.
