I absolutely loved the view from the terrace and the location. It’s away from the main road and not noisy. The house is so cozy and Pearlie and Rajan are so great people. I really enjoyed their company and those delicious meals they cooked. They treated me with so many tasty Sri Lankan curries. I loved everything. And sweats also. And they adjusted to my food preferences. Being vegetarian, not eating garlic, onion and chilly in Sri Lanka can be quite hard, almost every meal has smth I don’t eat. But they cooked for me the most delicious pure veg and sattvic food. I absolutely loved my stay there. And was kinda a bit sad yo leave.

Beautiful surrounding with excellent misty weather. The Breakfast was exceptional. Sri Lankan favourite string hoppers and the Freshest fruits with Dave's homemade Marmalade and Jams. The best Curd I've ever had. Oh I love the coffee Dave offered!! Super clean rooms and awesome library room with lots of splendid books. Oh we miss Charley so badly.. adorable companion.. :) I would give my highest recommendation and I will definitely visit again! thank you David and the awesome team!

Free toiletries are offered. Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

Highlight of my holidays, amazing staff and manager was so helpful. Beautiful gardens and tea factory. Excellent meals, it’s like going back in time. Wonderful.
