Host was very responsive and kind. Stairwell looks run down, but interior is bright and cheerful. Host nestled all sorts of amenities in a small space in inventive ways, such as small string lights to create workspace illumination. Cheerful place. Comfortable sitting space, kitchen table with chairs. Many mirrors. Comfortable bed and light-blocking drapes for sound sleep. Has huge TV (which we didn't use). Excellent secure internet! Note to travelers from USA: this is Latvia. Think of US amenities circa 1950. No microwave. Single burner hotplate with many good pans, a great hot water/tea kettle. Small dorm-size fridge works well, keeps food nice and cold. To use the washing machine, twist the water valve under the sink to horizontal position. To shower, twist to vertical. Also remember that utilities are very expensive in Latvia; it is a kindness to your host to conserve.

Great location, right next to the restaurant Skovorotka and the bakery Testo. Street parking in direct view from the windows. Quite convenient to walk to any points of interest one might want to see. Everything was very clean and neat, the TV has Netflix, the kitchen has a ceramic stovetop, and a clothes iron and a hair dryer is also available. Excellent communication with host, earlier check-in can be arranged.

The location was great with a lovely view from the balcony, despite a very busy road going right by the property with a lot of cars and lorries day and night. We got the entier first floor to ourselves with an open plan kitchen/dining area and bedroom, another two bedrooms and a separate WC/bathroom. Very spacious and everything we needed was there. The host was amazing and would go the extra mile for any request or question. The breakfast was great, very home-like treatment throughout our stay. Dinner options also available at a mere EUR 5 per person which is great. A lovely home-like apartment if you are staying in Daugavpils at very, very resonable prices!

I feel like relative here. Hosts were very friendly. I had boat trip even it was snow . they did not hesitate to prepare the boat. Kitchen was very big with two oven. there were many plates. I feel really as like home. Outside was cold but inside was very warm. Hot water in bathroom. They also provide hairdryer. In the morning I found nice cake with note in the fridge. I wanted peacefull alone vacation. and this place was perfect for that.
