Please note that the village is super small, there are two small supermarkets but no restaurants. Mobility is sort of limited by ferry schedules. This is the perfect place for those wo want to be in nature and experience life in a tiny fjord village - it’s quiet with lots of water and plenty of amazing landscape and hiking opportunities right at the doorstep. Good location to hike Preikestolen. Despite that, Stavanger is just a 50 mins drive away via a long and impressive tunnel. Tipp: Rent an electric car. There is free charging at the appartment.

Right outside there is a very large private deck with comfortable table and chairs to enjoy your coffee with mountains, water and the quaint village below.

The location is great, near bus stop, convenience stores and center of the city but we were able to rest perfectly because there are not any noise at night.
