He kept an eye on my car parked across the street from the Casa Luar while we hiked 4 days northbound on the area’s Fisherman’s Path. The breakfast was outstanding! Fresh baked bread, excellent coffee, fresh juice, pastries! Very tasty, very convenient and taken together with the room, excellent value for the price. The room was spotlessly clean. The location was very convenient for our purposes and we were able to feel comfortable about parking our car there while we hiked. As soon as we came back 4 days later to retrieve our car, the owner immediately came out and chatted with us!

First of all the staff was extremely kind and polite, they do the atmost to let you feel welcome. Everyone with a smile! The Hotel is beautifully furnished, very stylish. Everything is spotless clean and well taken care of. We can recommend the Hotel to everyone who is searching for great time off in the Alentejo.

Set in Ferreira do Alentejo, in a historic building, 48 km from Flour Museum, SOLAR DOS FRADES is a recently renovated guest house with an outdoor swimming pool and spa and wellness centre. The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 21 km from Represa. The guest house has family rooms. The property was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for three adults. The windows/shutters were gorgeous! The manager/staff were polite and helpful. We traveled in January, so we didn’t make use of the outdoor amenities, but would love to return in the future.
