Excellent staff, very attentive, great interactions with our four year old boy. Room was stunningly beautiful, bathroom had a wonderful mirror in front of the bathroom that turns into a telly. Afternoon tea was very nice, Scones are very tasty.

    Our 2nd stay here. Fabulous location between Windermere and Bowness. Easy walking distance to Windermere (5-10 mins) or down to Bowness/Lake (25 -30 mins) or bus stops nearby if needed. Free parking on arrival even if you are too soon to check in. Excellent value for money with clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Very good breakfast included too. We have stayed at many more expensive properties in the area but this place is ideal if you are on a budget and want a great base to walk, bus or drive from. We will be back.

    Things to like : Communication - owners Comms prior to our stay was very good and very helpful. room - our room was large with a good comfortable sitting area, very clean warm and comfortable. Breakfast, delivered to your room with a good choice of warm croissants, bagel or toast. Location - ideal to make the most of Bowness and Windermere, both around a 10 minute walk.

    The property and room is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It is in the ideal location for walking to both Bowness and Windermere and for accessing walks. Abigail and Andrew were very friendly and seemed to have thought of everything such as: leaving cake and water for your arrival, the mini fridge in your room, handmade bread, allowing you to take handmade muffins for in your walk and their commitment to being ‘green’. We felt very spoilt!

    The room and ensuite were kept spotless; towels and toiletries were changed when needed. Garreth was a perfect host; friendly and helpful with recommendations for hiking routes. He was respectful of privacy as well. The room was very quiet, with no noises from traffic etc... The guest house is an ideal location for exploring the Lakes, given its proximity to the bus and train station nearby.

    What a diddy little studio/apartment, I couldn't believe how small it was yet how much it had. Perfect location in the town centre & has everything you need. If you want to make a home cooked meal after exploring & have a hot bath it's ideal. Spotlessly clean & comfy bed. I've stayed in bigger hotel rooms with less facilities, easy access & parking outside the door.
