Le Magic Hall is located in the Centre Ville district in Rennes, 600 metres from Rennes University Hospital and a 1-minute walk from the Palais des Congrès or Saint Pierre Cathedral. Breakfast was excellent, with quality an local foods, fresh fruit, homemade cakes and sweets. The girl who attended breakfast was very kind and helpful. The Citotel Le Cornouaille Hôtel is located in the coastal region of Bénodet. Ideally located if you want to enjoy a variety of cultural and leisure activities. I can't fault this hotel, the best night sleep I had on a week away in France, extremely quiet, and comfortable.

Lucille was a fantastic host, who was extremely responsive, gave us very detailed information about how to access her place prior to the visit, and most of all had a wonderful, warm and caring personality. Being a mother herself, she was great with our kids, and understood the family dynamic, catering to our needs perfectly. The rooms were very charming, with fantastic views over the old part of Fougeres. It’s a quick walk to the beautiful medieval castle, as well as several restaurants. Lucille gave us some great suggestions for restaurants too. The breakfast was delicious and had a great array of choices. We stayed 2 nights, and all in all, the stay was perfect. I would definitely return again. Next time I’d like to try a massage, as Lucille is also a massage therapist. Unfortunately our schedule didn’t allow for me to have one this trip.

The charming young owner had kindly agreed to let us change our room to "au Bord de la mer" which was wonderful. This room is wheelchair-accessible and we can highly recommend it (whether you are handicapped or not). It comes with a lovely quiet terrace and access to a communal beautiful kitchen with all appliances. It was hot and we were happy to be able to freeze our ice packs and cool our water in the fridge. We had a wonderfully quiet and relaxing stay at this beautifully decorated former farm. The breakfast was great with amazing crepes. All in all: we very highly recommend!
