The lodge was superb - clean, bright, comfortable with a lovely terrace area overlooking the wonderful garden. The best part .... wildlife - throughout the day the birdlife was prolific and at dawn and dusk kangaroos everywhre right in front of you - up to 20 of them as friendly as anything. Easy parking outside the door. Our room was comfortable with air con, fridge, kettle and hot drinks. Basic toiletries. Separate seating area and outside shady seats under veranda. The best part of this stay was the wildlife that came to the garden. We loved seeing the Kookaburras, cockatoos, wild parrots and the family of kangaroos. All very close. Wonderful!AnnYoung couple

The wildlife right at the front door step of the property was amazing. There was plenty of kangaroos and cockatoos by the pond at sunset. The property was clean, tidy and the spa bath was great! Washing machines at no cost with detergent provided.

You are surrounded by wildlife such as birds, and at dusk the kangaroos come to visit. There were also sufficient items provided for your stay. Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean room that was very thoughtfully presented. Stunning views of the mountains and beautiful native gardens that attracted a variety of wildlife. Comfortable outdoor furniture to sit on the verandah and enjoy the peace and views. Quiet yet a short stroll into the heart of Halls Gap and the start of many walking trails. Perfection!
