Honestly the only thing that could have been better are the beds. Dont get me wrong the matras is decent. It's just that if the other person in the bunk moves, the structure shakes. But lets be honest you dont go to a hostel anticipating the best night sleep ever. Furthermore if you're really tired you can always take a nap in one of the hammocks in the garden, chill at the beach, or have another coffee and get over it. All in all an amazing place made really exceptional by the staff!!

Great relaxed atmosphere, nice 4 Bed shared rooms. Great Veranda and Garden. Also a Billiard Table is available. Everyone is very easy to chat with. Great size for a hostel as it is not too big and provides a cosy, personal atmosphere

We are two cyclists on a ride from Cadiz to San Sebastian. Our needs are simple we seek a clean bed and a hot shower – the hotel provided both Reception was welcoming and helpful – we had some language go astray and reception helped find this We select the Parador chain for a touch of luxury and enjoy the lavish and expert restoration of historical buildings across Spain - in this location the gardens and open sea side air were most welcome - fresh air after central Spain and its heat Excellent in every way

Amazing place! Volunteer staff are super friendly and I had a great time over the 3 weeks I stayed here. Everything is super clean and the common areas are enjoyable to hang around in (including a big front & back garden with hammocks). For the price of a night this place is definitely the best deal I found in Gijón, and I hope to come back someday to take surfing lessons with the team!

The staff members were amazing: kind, helpful, fun, etc. I truly enjoyed their company while staying there. The place is excellent to disconnect: from morning yoga sessions, book reading in a comfy hammock outside to singing sessions in the evening. My bunk bed was really cosy and it had a curtain so as to provide some privacy and stop the sun from waking me up early. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, quite yummy and filling.
