Everything. I was chilled all day after climbing onto a plane on a figid day at Billy Bishop in Toronto, straight off the wind blown tarmac. Just couldn't get warm and was in dire need of a hot shower and big comfortable bed in a nice old home that reminded me of my youth... The Royal is just that, and more, where the Inn Keep has just the right personality to make it all work. The Royal is a wonderful place to rest your head!

The cottage was very well equipped, nicely decorated, spacious but very cozy. Ocean front with beautiful sunsets. The owners/hosts were very quick to respond with any questions. Very personable and kind.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights while road tripping across Cape Breton and the Cabot trail. It is such a nice place to stay, very clean, beautiful, and the staff was so accommodating. The location was also great, a short drive to the nearest stores and restaurants. We are definitely staying here again next year. The beach across the street was also beautiful, there’s a short little trail through the woods that leads down to the water and we had a beautiful sunset dinner. Highly recommend this place.

Pleasantly suprised - was expecting a budget strip hotel and instead had extremely high level of personal service from all staff, high quality inclusions in the room and a view for morning sunrise (or evening sunset) over the water that was exception. Yes, this may appear to be a standard hotel room, but the managers have gone all out to add nice touches (types of products provided for bathrooms and kitchen) that raise the standard quite a lot

Food was plentiful and delicious. Hospitality was exceptional. I highly recommend this property. Verandah, living room and property were all beautifully decorated and comfortable and available for our use.

Fantastic view, on hill overlooking ocean and islands. Watched sunset from sunroom. Friendly hosts, made us feel at home, had interesting stories to tell. Complete kitchen for us to use in our apartment, which could be closed off from the house but didn't have to be. Comfortable bed, large clean bathroom.

Good location with lovely view over fishing harbour. Very convenient seafood restaurant within walking distance. Enjoyed a fabulous sunset view from the Inn. Very helpful and honest staff found my wallet that I left in the room and let me know.

Perfect location 4 min drive from the airport, amazing and helpful staff, clean and comfy bed, hot shower, breakfast included, free parking.

Magnificent view of the sunset from the veranda. We booked the very roomy, comfortable and convenient "disability room" on the ground floor.
