It had originally features and in an idyllic location, with wildlife and stunning views and activities on the doorstep
A really nice stay and great room with kitchen and bathroom. We had a great sleep as the bed was really comfortable and a nice hot shower. We went on a great hike recommended by the host.
A good place to stay for a weary cyclist having cycled mostly in the rain from Brecon. Somewhere secure to leave my bike. A good hot shower to wash off the grime of the day. A comfortable and warm bedroom to allow me to dry off my damp cycling clothes. A good meal downstairs in the bar. A good breakfast too the following morning before I set off for Machynlleth - in the rain! All-in-all, a great place to stay. A very lively place on Saturday night. The staff are lovely too! I would recommend a stay here.
Lovely staff. Comfortable bed Hot shower Nice towels
We loved how cosy and cute the shepard's hut was, and how comy the bed and pillows were. The extra little touches of having homemade bread and muffins were sweet and much appreciated as was the board of numbers to call if needed. The shower was very spacious and had great water pressure. The location was amazing (as was the view) and it was soo peaceful at night time as well as being surrounded by wildlife. The hosts were amazing and made us feel very welcome and at ease when we arrived. Would love to stay again.
Everything else fantastic location ,walks, views and lovely peaceful no noise. Wildlife lovely too
Spacious tents, very comfortably fitted out but still felt like camping. Toilet and shower facilities good. Nice communal tent with generous breakfast and hospitable all day tea and coffee. Easy walking distance to cental Hay. Charming and attentive hosts
probably one of the best Glamping pods I’ve ever stayed in. hot tub was great sunset was great and no one can see you which is a bonus
The location was fantastic -- with great views just up the road, amazing walks right from the doorstep, and a stone's throw from one of the best high streets in the UK. Everything has been recently refurbished and it showed: super strong and hot shower, excellent kitchen facilities, and very cute little cottage that was perfect for the two of us and our dog.
