Perfect place to stay when visiting Udawalawe national park. Beautiful, clean, spacious and well equipped rooms with AC, hot shower and good wifi. Owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is good and especially the dinner buffet is amazing! We did the safari with them and that was also a great experience. Definitely recommend!

Quiet location with lovely outdoor space. Room+bathroom were clean and comes with AC, mosquito net and even a fridge. Very friendly staff that give us complementary welcome drink and the owner arranged everything for us, including lunch on arrival (7USD/2200LKR), the safari (60-67 USD for 5h). He even went out of his way to drop us off in the city centre (free!).

Max is good and very friendly person. Villa is clean and perfect to relax. Max offers good price taxi and safari service. We highly recommend Safari driver from Max, he made the experience very safe and respectful to wildlife. He was amazing at spotting animals and we saw so many of them. In Udawalawa there is also opportunity to see feeding of elephants in local orphanage.

The villas are great and scenic. The pool was nice and we had lounge seats and hammocks in front of the villa. We organized our safari through the hotel and it was excellent.

Haritha and his wife were wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed the delicious home cooked meals and the portions were very generous. The room was simple but clean and had a lovely outdoor patio space. However, the highlight was the safari experience with Haritha as our guide. He was so knowledgeable and we had an amazing day deep in the park where we saw a huge diversity of wildlife. We recommend that you opt for all day safari to really make the most of your experience.

Amazing location for safari style camping. The host was so friendly and welcoming! The night boat tour and walk were incredible. The dinner in the evening with bonfire and home cooked DELICIOUS food..what's not to love. The tent did have a few holes in which made me a little nervous, but the host was very reassuring! All in all a great stay, listening to elephants and the wildlife as you're falling asleep! Wow!

Cute little houses in a well kept little resort. The room was simple but spotlessly clean. We immediately felt comfortable. If it’s a snack, tea or a breakfast package to take along on the safari, the hosts do their absolute best. Dinner was delicious and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch of the house and listen to the evening wildlife. Personally, I think the location is even better than shown on the pictures and an absolute recommendation!

Great place to stay when doing a safari in Udawalawe. We booked ours through the hotel and really enjoyed it. The tents are big and spacious and clean and loved the outdoor bathroom. Lovely big pool to cool off in too. Peaceful spot and would highly recommend for a few days stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Very good value for money, interesting talks to the really nice and helpful owner, the outdoor shower feels like having a shower under a waterfall, great safari for a good price, the delicious food is all homemade by his wife, quiet AC, the chipmunks only jumps from time to time on the roof, wich was not disturbing for us at all but part of a real experience, clean room with a Mosquito net, a relaxing massage… this is exactly how holidays should be!
