Everything. Especially that it was dog friendly. If you travel with a dog,this place is very suitable. There is a beach nearby where dogs are allowed all day. It is called Harendijke. Just across the bridge. It is a beautiful,very clean beach. The garden of the tiny beach house has a fence which was great. My dog enjoyed being in the garden so much. But be careful: the garden gate sometimes swings open when it is windy. I simply secured it with an extra leash. Dominique was very friendly and helpful.

They immediately gave us some tips on where to go for dinner. The apartment was big and was nicely decorated for Christmas. Everything we needed was there. Very close to the tramstop that will take you to Ostend or Blankenberge. Very close to the beach. Very close to a butcher that also sells bread.
