It had everything we needed.. the location was excelent, 20 min drive to La Rochelle, they had access to a small beach that would completely dissapear when the tide would come in. However....10 min away was Chatelaillon Plage, an amazing sandy beach with everything you needed.Inside the camping they had lovely pools and children area, with a splash area and a small play area...a pub with live music and an excelent view over the ocean.

Quiet location with good French amenities. Local beach is quiet and swimmable at high tide and sunsets are amazing. If you like seafood La Guinguette de Thierry is close and exceptional. Also 2 local restaurants are great.

Easy going ambience of the place + a decent fridge / freezer made life so much more convenient. Beach is a stone throw away - great location for a picnic. The restaurants on the beach - sadly - you need a booking so spontaneous approach was a failure, but they are there. It's about 20 min drive from La Rochelle. We liked it enough to stay there an extra night!!!
