I loved the casual friendliness of this place. It was perfect for me as a solo traveler to have the privacy of a tent on my own, and a communal lounge and kitchen area to socialize if I wanted to. My tent was comfy with a good mattress and I slept like a baby. The nearby beach is a stone’s throw away, and was gorgeous. I had a wonderful time.

We were able to cater our own breakfast - the boulangerue, open at 7am is a few yards away. Bidart has some excellent restaurants and fantastic beaches although it rained when we were there.
