The owner has provided all the expected mod-cons alongside some nice extras such as board games, DVDs and books. There are some lovely views out towards the sea, hills and coastline. It's a short walk downhill towards the charming harbour and beach area with plenty of eateries and attractions to fill a day. Head in the other direction, towards the town centre, for supermarkets and convenience stores. Overall a pleasant stay in Ilfracombe, which is a great base from which to explore North Devon.

The proprietor Michael is very welcoming, efficient and responsive to any issues - we had to leave one day early and he was very understanding and refunded us without hesitation. An excellent breakfast is supplied, beautifully cooked. A few days ago, in October, parking on the hotel premises was perfect. The room was very clean and tidy with a well presented, and spotless, ensuite, shower, and bath.

Violet and George they are friendly and very welcoming. The room where we stayed was very clean, tidy and spatious. During breakfast always they were checking if we had everything and the breakfast was very tasty "thank you for George chef". I would recomend for everybody who wants to chill or wants to relax. Massive thank you for them 😘

Free parking, and close to tunnels beach which is beautiful and ilfracombe beach. We arrived earlier then our check-in time and Olivia was very accommodating and met us with the keys and showed us to our apartment. Very clean and tidy and all the necessary bits to enjoy a weeks stay. Private driveway too. Noce shower, big tv and stocked with boardgames and DVD's. The owner really has thought of everything. Even for our little beagle, dog bowl, poo bags and a dog blanket were a lovely touch.
