The location is beautiful! The hosts were lovely. They take care of even the smallest details. The grounds and plants were delightful, and the cabin we stayed in was charming. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the peaceful and quiet location.

There was plenty of parking for our large car, and the lodge itself was very private. The only sound were the birds which was perfect. It was also perfectly located for us to go on our beach and south West coast path walks as well as nipping down to the local for a lovely meal and drink. This lodge is clearly well kept home by the owners and you can see touches of that everywhere.

Very clean and comfortable, and very well set out for its size, with lots of arty décor. Rear patio was handy for preparing for beach and on return. Suited our needs very well.

The mattress was good quality and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and engaging. The choices on the breakfast menu were amazing. The premises includes a village shop and varied dining areas. The Inn was pretty full when we arrived. With Polzeath beach a short drive away, it's a gold mine.
