Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a warmly heated hot tub, a selection of snacks, and even a chilled bottle of champagne – a warm and inviting welcome that set the tone for our stay. Ordering takeout was a breeze, and the food deliveries arrived with remarkable speed. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend this place. Location is amazing, only around 20 minutes away from York city center. Everyone was really friendly, the cabin had everything you'd need and was really clean and warm. Plenty of parking as well. Hope to come back in warmer weather

It had a small gym, excellent break out areas in the lobby with free use of board games and complimentary cocktail punch. The rooms are on the smaller side but we only stayed one night so was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the room was most importantly very clean! The staff were so helpful and nice. Would definitely stay again.

The mattress and pillow were probably the most comfortable of any hotel I have ever stayed in and better than mine at home - superb! The staff were all delightful; young , friendly and very helpful. A nice touch is the free gin cocktail which is offered to all guests (non alcoholic cocktail also available)

The staff are lovely & helpful. Facilities and rooms were lovely, cosy and very clean. Breakfast was also lovely brought to us in a picnic basket and brought to our room in the morning. Fabulous guesthouse we will definitely be returning!
