The campsite is located on the banks of the Tisza, almost in the center of Szeged. The atmosphere of the place is `retro`. The shower cabins (2) are usable, being heated with solar panel, the toilet is located at 50m, on a pontoon. The owner is very nice and frienly. There are 3 caravans for rent (no water connection, only electricity), located between the trees. They don`t have air conditioning, but the forest offers some coolness. On the pontoon is a bar and restaurant, too. Be prepared for mosquitoes :)

The rooms are spacious, very clean, tastefully decorated, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Beds very comfortable, white linen very clean. Very good breakfast , diversified with fresh products and even prepared on the spot on request. Very polite and professional staff. Free and safe parking in the hotel courtyard. I highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely stay here if we have road through Szeged.

The living room is spacious and has everything you need. The bad was really comfortable. The small things that made your stay better are kick scooters, we use it, and had a lot of fun. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. we’ve stayed in other hotels in Szeged at a similar price point, but none of them provided the same level of service and offerings as I experienced in hotel Gerardus.
