We were hiking a number of days on the Nakasendo Way & returning to the campground each night was great! The place is very well set up with provisions for cooking and cleaning and the glamping tents are really beautiful, with plenty of warmth in the way of sleeping bags and doonas provided. The hot pot was delicious and we had a very comfortable stay in the tents. The breakfast with view on the valley and grinding your own coffee was superbe! The owners are very friendly + the camping is ON the Nakasendo trail.

The location is close to Nagiso station, the owner communicated the check-in process 3 days before including how to find the property. There is a good Japanese restaurant next door and supermarket nearby, very convenient.

Being literally right off the Nakasendo trail was perfect. The beds in our tent were so cozy, and they gave us sleeping bags and extra blankets due to the cold. We bought firewood for a very nice little fire outside our tent, and they supplied a two-burner stove plus propane to cook food. We bought the breakfast delivery and it was perfect! Good amount of food and variety. Super nice staff. Super nice communal facility with toilets and kitchen.

Our hosts were a lovely couple and the wife spoke great English so it was very helpful. We learned that the husband and his crew built and designed the property (so impressive!).
