It offers air-conditioned rooms and traditional Bedouin meals in a unique desert location. It offers various kinds of tents. The place is situated in an oasis outside the town of Arad. You get the desert experience, but without giving up the option of a supermarket or other comforts of civilization. cAmEls! If you like camels or one or more of your children like them, this is a great place for you o feed, pet and even ride them. You have an option of sleeping in a Bedouin tent, a hut or even a comfortable modern room. Some guests brought their own popup tents and set them inside the Bedouin tent, to get max privacy and protection from the elements. The oasis is about 20 minutes easy drive from Masada-west, where you can watch the audio-visual show after nightfall.

It was the perfect size for the three of us. We were really impressed!! Most of all the owners were incredibly kind and attentive—the definition of hospitality! The nearest airport is Eilat-Ramon Airport, 135 km from the campground. We enjoyed our stay! The caravan was very nice and we really like the location, only a few minutes to town by car. It was also fun to make a fire and roast marshmallows.

Incense and Spice Route Inn is set in an isolated place in the desert and offers rooms with access to a shared kitchen and a barbecue. While guests can enjoy star gazing next to the bonfire. There is also a petting zoo area on site. Great place, the facility is well taken care of. The room is pretty, great shower with hot water and good stream. The private pool is warm and nice to bath even at night. Our vacation was absolutely terrific

Featuring free WiFi, a children's playground and a sun terrace, Ein Gedi is 300 metres from The Botanical Garden in Kibbutz Ein Gedi. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Free private parking is available on site. First of all, it is a camp. One can choose lodges (as a bit higher level of comfort), however, my family decided for tents and sleeping in the open air. We got what we wanted, and we liked it a lot. Friendly staff, clean shared bathroom, bar with all sorts of seatings and beds, discrete music in behind, drinks and snacks available from dawn till late in the evening. Fantastic location with a view over the Dead Sea (the better place would have been only on the shore, but since several years, this no longer possible). Not to forget a lousy equipment for table tennis in the corner of the bar, which is absolutely adorable and simply adds up to the charm of the camp.

The on-site restaurant serves Israeli cuisine and pizza. The staff was very cool, friendly, and easygoing! The location was quite good, it's just a shame that the sinkholes now force us to take a 30-45min bus to Ein Bokek to enjoy the Dead Sea. The food and cocktails were good. The views were amazing - since I didn't have a car and the first but to Massada was at 9am, I was happy that I could enjoy the sunrise over Jordanian Highlands from the comfort of my "tent". Recommended!!
