We only spent 1 night before travelling home but I thought the hotel was excellent. It was very clean and the family room was very big with a huge shower. After 2 weeks of trekking through sweaty jungles, a bit of comfort was needed.

Our host picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry which was extremely helpful. The property was clean, great aircon (vital as it was super hot) and was clean. It was in a good location for the main beaches.

Surrounded by trees and wildlife, this was one of our favourite stays in Panama. We went to the empty beach (be aware of jellyfish!), relaxed in the hammocks and just enjoyed ourselves. The hosts were nice, our cottages great, the kitchen well equipped. The jungle in the backyard is great! We spotted hummingbirds and iguanas on the property.

Had a fantastic stay at Hibiscus House. Nicola is a consummate hostess and a wealth of information on what to do and see on the island. The location of the house is ideal - within walking distance to two superb beaches on either side of the island. The house itself is very clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the breakfast was equally ample and delicious. Would return in a heartbeat.

The room was super comfortable, very clean and spacious, they picked us up at the airport and gave us a tour of the island restaurants and beaches and greeted us with a delicious romantic cocktail. Lauren and Robert were exceptional, they were very attentive to what we needed, they also have a lot of information about the island tours and golf carts, the hotel is a bit far from the beaches but with a golf cart you can go to all parts of the islands. We will be back.

El Arca de Pachue is an amazing place with a very nice host. He took us on a little sightseeing tour with his ATV and his dogs through the town and invited us to his family barbecue in the evening. Right in front of the hotel is a large beach with enough space to be completely alone there. We felt really welcomed there and were asked if we were happy staying. :) And yes, we were!
