Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Extremely convenient location 5 minutes walk from Trastevere train station which is ½ hour to Fiumicino and by a cheaper service. Easy to reach tourist destinations in Rome by public transport. Room very comfortable with modern furnishings, spacious shower, and has a little self-catering setup. Host was very welcoming, friendly, accommodating and provided lots of good tips.

Great location and best value for money. Loved the overall ambiance and the theme of the hotel. They were kind to keep the luggage for the whole day post checkout which was very convenient and worryfree. Hotel being few mtrs from the Piazza Navona was convenient and quick to move to the hotel when needed. Breakfast was included in the tariff and was good. Overall budget friendly and great place to stay

Budget friendly accommodation that felt secure and very convenient to the Colosseum. They kept it very clean and towels were a generous size. Nice that there is a hot water kettle and espresso machine as well. They also provided a large bottle of water which was helpful. Our fridge did feel cold but note they have a restriction on eating in the room so we didn’t really use the fridge. There’s an option to have the room cleaned or not daily - they did a nice job cleaning.

Very charming hotel on quiet Aventin hill, we enjoyed our stay a lot. The rooms are impeccable clean and the hotel's parking space nearby very convenient for us. We went to the centre either by metro, which is cheap and convenient, or by taxi (we paid approx. EUR 7 to Piazza Venezia or EUR 10 up to Trevi Fountain - but depends also on traffic). Breakfast was sufficient for our needs and coffee as expected to be in Italy. Friendly staff!

Location was brilliant, Close to the metro and also walking distance to the main attractions (or bus/metro if you're not fit enough to walk) lots and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hair dryer was powerful for one of the on the wall ones. Smart TV with netflix/prime was a nice touch. Vending machine was great, cheap snacks and drinks.

The staff was very kind and friendly. They were quick to resolve any issues that occurred. You will always find someone at the reception. The location is central to the main tourist spots, restaurants and Roma Termini (about a 10-min walk). If you're on a tight budget and want to cheap-out on a hotel, then this place is worth considering amongst other options.

Great large, quiet guest room with nice clean, modern bathroom. The location is very convenient next to the Foro Romano. And the price-quality ratio is excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nespresso coffee machine with capsules and complimentary water in the room.

Excellent location, conveniently situated close to Piazza del Popolo and Villa Borghese, and two blocks away from metro stop Flaminio. The bed was comfy, the room and facilities modern overall, and the staff was super helpful and very friendly. New bottles of water and coffee capsules every morning.

The location is very good. I suggest if you are looking for a budget friendly and convenient place to everything like from airport to tourist destinations, this place is really a good choice because it is just in front of Rome Termini, however, it is a cheap accommodation so don't expect too much in the place as it is old, kinda noisy outside because it is in the city center, but the owner named Roman is very helpful and he always clean the place especially the bathroom and toilet which is very important too. Thumbs up!
