Excellent location and views from the White Hawk Villa. We spent the days in the family house that is really very confortable. We could admire the the beauty of the Arenal Volcano, enjoy multiple trails, is fascinating.

It's an amazing experience to stay surrounded by the nature and all the sounds of the rainforest. Knowing that La Fortuna is a very busy place with many people coming and staying all the time, Chalets Silencio del Bosque appeared to us as an island of tranquility and privacy being still in a close proximity to all the points we wanted to see in the region. Eduardo is a very nice, caring and welcoming host! We just loved our stay.

The location was so nice, tucked away in regenerating forest after a drive through rural Costa Rica, but close to many interesting sights. It was quiet, relaxing, with lots of walking tracks to see birds and animals. Wonderful night walk, great facilities, fantastic owners who share their knowledge and enthusiasm about Costa Rica's nature with guests.

Breathtaking views from the house and very well managed. The house was clean and has all the necessary things required for family. We had to cancel our sight seeing plans just to stay in the house and enjoy the vibe. Highly recommended.

You're right beside Mistico hanging bridges, so we were able to enter the park at 6am and explore it before it got busy. There isn't a restaurant/bar on-site, so you use one in a local resort. We walked there and it was fairly incredible to be surrounded by so many glow bugs. They offer a shuttle if you don't want to stumble around in the dark.

We booked several tours through the front desk and all were good value for money, with exceptionally knowledgable guides - the Night Walk/frog tour was a particular highlight. The cabin was spacious and exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds, good ceiling fans and large fridge meant we stayed in comfort. Two wooden rocking chairs on the front porch were perfect for enjoying a sudden rain storm.
