Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

VERY FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING STAFF. THIS IS A TRADITIONAL OLD HOUSE IN THE OLD PART OF TOWN, AS SUCH, WOODEN FLOORS DO MAKE NOISE SO KEEP THAT IN MIND IF YOU ARE A VERY LIGHT SLEEPER.

The owners are very active outdoor folks and so you're in great hands if you're looking to get out and about and explore the amazing nature surrounding Cuenca. The place itself is situated right next to one of Cuenca's 4 rivers, and so as a guest, you're enjoying the calming and relaxing white noise produced by it. The apartment I stayed in gave access to a kitchen and cabinets and so this is a suitable place for longer stays. The 2 adorable dogs were a pleasant presence being away from my own canine.

I had a very nice time in the Wild Monkey Hostel. The beds are very comfortable and it’s a nice atmosphere. Everything is clean and you can wash 1 Kg of cloth for free. They have a fireplace where we did a fire on some evenings. The people working in the Hostel are very nice. I can recommend this hostel to everyone:))

This hostel is run by a very friendly and courteous owner. It is centrally located close to the main square and other sights. The building is charming and well looked after, with spacious rooms playfully distributed over the wooden floors. All very neat and clean. Maybe (one of) the top hostel in current South America trip!

It's a lovely old-style apartment with wooden floorboards, high ceilings and stucco on it. Centrally located, next to Parque Caldéron (Of course it will be a bit noisy) Lots of cafés and restaurants around - you really should have a drink in the bar next to the hotel. It's amazing. And you are also close to the main attractions. Breakfast included, hot shower, soft towels, comfortable beds.

Comfortable and spacy room, and although the windows lead to the big square, it was quiet inside. The room has a lot of space for your stuff (cabinets, small table, chair, small sofa), the bathroom was extremely spacy with hot shower. Wi-Fi was very fast. The hotel is monitored with a lot of cameras and locked during all day.

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast in light-filled room. Lots of fresh fruit and hot dishes. The room was very comfortable, large and airy. I was traveling alone and felt very safe. The hotel is very clean with shiny polished wooden floors.

This is a super charming property with very professional, friendly, and attentive staff. Viktor at the front desk is exceptional! We were well looked after. We had a street facing room with balcony and the timber shutters at night created a completely quiet environment.

Massive old room with a huge bathroom with two sinks. Nice little balcony, and plenty of windows to let sunlight in when shutters are opened. The shower was excellent, and the wifi was speedy. Great value for money, and between five and ten minutes' walk from the terminal. Good supermarket a couple of minutes' walk.
