We loved it here. Beautiful surroundings and jungle walk. Cabins were wonderful, clean, comfortable and beautifully made. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Owners and staff were so welcoming, friendly and very patient of our lack of Spanish.

So far La Casa del Rio has been the most luxurious place I have been to in Ecuador. The owners have strived for perfection in the construction of this recently build resort. Beautifully designed cabins with perfect views and comfortable beds. Elisabeth and Jerry are so friendly..your satisfaction is everything to them. This mini resort has a swimming pool, a big covered patio dining place and a huge inside lounge with comfortable chairs and couches. Nothing else but sounds of the river and birds and crickets.

As soon as I arrived I felt at home. The manager was very attentive. The room was beautiful, with wooden floor and roof and a balcony. All facilities are new and in perfectly good condition. The place is also quiet but close to the centre.
