Beautifully situated holiday house, just a short (10 min) drive from Cardiff. The hot tub was a major plus - it was lovely to take a dip after a day exploring the countryside. However, it was our hosts that made the place truly exceptional. They were so kind, letting our kids help feed the sheep and see some newly born lambs. Such precious memories!

Logs provided for log burner, owner was friendly and helpful on arrival, can’t fault the price, location, and amenities provided. We’re very likely to book again in the summer and take our dog this time to take advantage of the large paddock that the hut is situated in!

This time I decided a bit more comfort was in order-a nice meal, maybe even breakfast. Restaurant shut-no warning at time of booking or since. Breakfast only operating one hour after advertised time, which didn't suit. A couple of other minor niggles, which all rather spoiled the experience, so back to budget next time.

The TV did not have closed captions which is below the expected standard in an inclusive society. There were also long brown hairs in the bathroom that were not mine. Staff at the desk were lovely and did their best to assist.
