Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Clean but the room heater was on full blast and couldn't be regulated so it was a sauna inside. No working tv and no shower head in the bathroom shower cabin The room was overall clean just the facilities were very old and not always working Great location and if you are on a budget then it's ideal

The staff on reception seemed friendly, this and the location were the only good things about the stay. The smell in the bathroom was like old mouldy water and there was no lock on the door. The room opposite us were playing music so loudly we could hear it in our room even with the door shut, and when I woke up around 1:30am, it was still going! I took a video recording as evidence. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable also.

The table and benches outside were nice to sit out on and the grounds are lovely too. The chalet itself was very pleasant and there was enough space for the 3 of us.

Flat was good. Shower was very small and front door very stiff to shut. I had to supply my own towel which I was told but I personally think they could be supplied as they own a hotel next door.

We booked a standard room but when we opened the door there were biscuit wrappers and crumbs all over the floor, we went to reception and explained what we had seen they said if the cleaners don’t shut the windows properly the pigeons get in and rip the biscuit wrappers and eat the biscuits. The receptionist was very apologetic and upgraded our room to a sea view and we gave us complimentary breakfast. The view was to die for and there was so much choice for breakfast.

Brilliant location, really convenient and plenty of parking around (chargeable but not extortionate). The room itself was reasonably clean and the beds comfortable, extras like a fan provided as it was so hot. We didn’t try it but there was coffee available from a machine in the lobby. There was a useful alarm on the room door when it wasn’t quite fully shut. Our room had a sea view which was lovely. The triple room was really nicely set out with a single bed in its own ‘annexe’ part.

I had an enjoyable stay. I arrived a bit earlier than planned, but I was enthusiastically welcomed by the owners. I stayed in a single room with an en suite; both were modern and clean. Very quiet and just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and beach hut selling ice creams! I stayed in a room with prints from artist Keith Haring. I am actually familiar with his work, and so it was a pleasant surprise.
