Amed Beach is 500 metres from Damar Sanjaya Uttama, while Lake Batur is 45 km away. The nearest airport is Ngurah Rai International, 93 km from the lodge, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.

We had a lovely stay here, lovely staff that were really friendly and helpful. The room had great air-conditioning, a fridge, and a large room with plenty of storage. The swimming pool was clean and a nice area to relax in. It's also in a great location, quiet and peaceful but close to cafes, restaurants and the beach. We hired a scooter from the accommodation, which was also really helpful and a great price. To top it off, there is a beautiful little black puppy who hangs around there. He is so cute and sweet. We started to feed him and have left food with the accommodation to help look after him. So if he is still around and you like dogs please offer to buy him some food or give him some love as he is only a puppy (probably less than 6 months old) and we fell in love with him. Unfortunately, the rescue centres are all full, so the dogs rely on peoples kindness (P.S. any updates on the pup would be amazing)

Located Directly at the beach in front of great koral reef - here you are swimming in colorful fish. The Blue Star have consequently been my first choice - the hotel is very well functional, great staff, the rooms I normally select are with sea view. It’s all old, charming and just like I prefer. Value for your good money

The spacious villa with a terrace and sea views has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with an oven and a toaster, and 2 bathrooms with a shower. Guests can take in the views of the pool from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. The villa offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service.

Everything! The pool, room, food, staff, all incredible. This is by far the best place to stay in Bali. The food is a five star restaurant. Incredible views. Private, quiet, and close to most of the sights you would want to see. The staff is the best I have ever had.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Outdoor bathroom was divine, could see mt. Agung from inside my room and hear the ocean at night. Cute, breathable cabin with a hammock outside. Lovely staff. Super convenient to dip straight in the ocean or walk beachside to oneway espresso, my fav coffee spot.

A beautiful by the beach hotel composed of a few traditional-style cabins (If you are not fond of insects, remember that those are not too tight; we didn't mind it). All beds have mosquito nets. Cabins with the best seaview are number 2 and 3 (number 1 is also OK, but it is right by the pool, so be prepared for more people by your veranda). The swimming pool is very nice. You can snorkle practically from the hotel doorsteps. Altogether, we didn't want to leave. Best place to just chill, snorkle and relax for a couple of days.

Undeniably a beautiful location, up in a far flung valley in Amed. The cabins, pool and communal areas are beautifully designed and maintained and the staff were all very nice and attentive. Really loved the pool area where there were bougainvillea flowers in bloom and butterflies everywhere. Absolutely stunning view from the restaurant down the valley all to the way to the sea.

Beautiful place. Lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was quite expensive but was excellent. Loved the double level huts and pool area. Felt very comfortable and luxurious and good value at low season price. I enjoyed using the empty yoga shala each morning (no classes running in low season). Staff were all lovely.

I booked this hotel purely for the view, and it definitely delivered. The rooms were lovely and clean. They provide a torch, mosquito spray and toiletries. I had to leave early the next day, which wasn't a problem for the staff. The hotel shuttle collected us at 6am and they made breakfast bags for us.

Really loved the beautiful tropical garden setting....lots of interesting plants and a beautiful swimming pool. The chalets are very unique...they're traditional wooden houses brought over from Java! They have authentic, intricate carvings. Very comfy bed with mosquito net and extra pillows. Small fridge provided. The open air en suite makes a completely charming accommodation choice. The friendly staff serve breakfast on your private verandah. Beach is a short scoot away....

There are few things better than to wake up, open your door and look straight at the sea. I mean - 5m away. We were greeted by a little cat who seems to have decided that our beach hut is her holiday home. Lovely. We were brought a thermos of hot water and coffee accoutrements in the morning, too.

The hotel was nice and right on the beach, the staff was very friendly, the pool was clean, the food was amazing like the service. My room was facing the ocean, I had my own "beach hut" concept, the room size was great too. Walking distance from few diving shops, the supermarket was 10 mins away and few restaurants too
