Amboseli Sopa Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with bidet and free toiletries.

The grounds were beautiful, the views of Mt Kilimanjaro were breath taking, the pool was one of the nicest I have ever been in. We traveled with our kids, but my wife commented on how romantic it would be as just a couple. The food is incredible and plentiful. They will even pack you a big lunch if you're doing a full day game drive. The Masai on site are friendly and fun. And there are happy hour drinks and snacks everywhere you turn.

Where to start from? This Hotel is magnificent! Since the pick up from the airstrip to the very little detail inside the room, it has been a perfect experience. Location is beautiful, in the middle of the nature respecting its environment and yet making the most comfortable rooms and social living rooms. Birds, squirrels and little monkeys come to your window and you can see the Kilimanjaro mount through your door! The pool is gorgeous, the food is great and the game drives are amazing! Staff is so committed on making unforgettable memories. I wanted to see hippos, so they searched all over until we saw one. Plus, rangers know a lot about the park so they give great explanations and knows the perfect spots to find the animals. Also about the staff: they are super polite, super friendly, always asking whether you need something. Manager is super nice! he helped us printing some papers we needed. the SPA service is amazing! Totally worth the money. I recomend this Hotel to everyone and I will definetly come back with my family.

Located in the heart of the Amboseli National Park and offering stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Ol Tukai Lodge Amboseli offers a pool, restaurant and guest lounge.

To explore the wildlife, guests can book special game drive vehicles with driver at an additional fee. Other activities include bird watching and visits to a nearby Maasai village.

The location is truly unbelievable. You can walk out of your room to see Mount Kilimanjaro (when there are no clouds) or so many animals at the fence line (saw baby elephants, Zebras, Buffalos, Wildabest, Hippos, and more). The staff went above and beyond, they were knowledgeable and friendly, and they even tracked my flight arrangements for me. I very much appreciated that the food is buffet style (plus delicious), and the activities such as the game drives are very reasonably priced as are the extra drinks! I am a tough critic who has traveled the world and this place sticks out as one of the best. If you are looking for a place to stay in Amboseli, you can stop your search. I kept debating my choice when I was looking but I am so glad I went with my gut instinct. I would go back and I would love to bring my family one day. I will highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Kenya. This place is worth the value.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

This is a simple place but very good value and everything goes to the local community. Sitting on the veranda of your raised hut on stilts with a direct view of Mount Kilimanjaro is an experience to be truly treasured.

Stunning location with a clear view of Kilimanjaro. You are off the beaten track so this is a peaceful place too. The tents were fine and the kitchen was small but served the purpose. Wash facilities were basic but clean. We had excellent service from Brian who built a fireplace evening and organised a safari for us, as well as a Masai village visit. Great place.

A very beautiful, quiet and friendly place with great location close to Amboseli National Park. We had our own hut with stunning views to the Kilimanjaro, accompanied by bird's twitter and monkeys. The accomodation is basic, but was very clean and excellent value for the price. Breakfast and dinner were homemade and very good. The staff was very friendly and can organize game drives to the Amboseli or Tsavo National Parks or transport to further locations. We enjoyed the bush walk in the surrounding area and to Massai villages.

Very nice (and very simple) lodge in a calm and beautiful surrounding. The higher double rooms are simple inside with a nice balcony to read and relax. The main area/restaurant is cute with two stories in a wooden building, and Christine&Jackson prepare amazing food! Staff was friendly and open to our requests. Rural area, calm. Excellent budget option for Amboseli if you want to avoid the big lodges.

Beautiful and unique place in savana. The hut is very cozy and comfortable, with Kilimanjaro view through the window and terrace. Very welcoming and sweet staff, nice food. Had a private safari with their guide Wilson, which was amazing. Would stay here again, and would recommend to others. Amazing value for this price.

This place is so quite and peaceful. I lost my wife one month ago and this trip to Kenya is very special to me. Amboseli Eco Camp was almost like a healing place for me: waking up in the cabin every morning with the view of Kilimanjaro from bed was priceless. I read negative reviews... but these come from "fancy" people who come to Africa and pretend to live the life they live back home. Go to the UAE if that's what you're looking for. I'm gonna come back. Thank you for everything!
