We are so lucky to have found Gradine during our stay in the Prokletije mountains. After a short ride on a bumpy road ( definitely doable with a rental car), you will reach a beautifully arranged Camp with several chalets in the middle of the mountains. The views overlooking the mountains are breath taking and you will definitely be able to reconnect with nature again ( wifi works really well in case you want to stay connected!). We rented the biggest chalet and were pleasantly surprised. It was spacious, comfortable, great bathroom, huge upstairs bedroom and great bedding. The place stays fresh and you will have no issues sleeping at night with your windows open as it gets quite cold, even in the middle of July. We ate there ( dinner and breakfast) and absolutely loved the food. Huge portions which were deliciously prepared. We even asked for Kacamak one evening and our host kindly agreed to make some especially for us. It was so good! It is easy to get to the Prokletije national park and you will find amazing hikes there. Hrid lake is also right next door.

Our best stay in Montenegro! The host family were so kind, they invited us into their home (across the road) and made us a wonderful dinner and breakfast. The hut is basic (as you would expect!) but has everything you need including a little kitchen and wood-burning stove. It's so cosy and perfect for walkers. The host even put the stove on and left us hot tea for when we arrived! Thanks so much!
