I stayed overnight during a three-day drive. This is a beautiful and peaceful spot to relax and enjoy nature just about 15 minutes outside Tsumeb. The chalets and outdoor seating area overlook a watering hole where various antelope and birds congregated in the evening. The staff members were welcoming and kindly attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. I plan to return and would highly recommend.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

This camp is very well planned and developed by the host to ensure your unforgetable experience in a private spot in the middle of the bush. It offers spacious 4 beds tent fully equiped with a small "private" swiming pool in front and fireplace. We had a great meaningfull chat with the host before sun set. We wish we could stay there longer and get a deep rest in this wonderfull place.

We recommend staying at Tsumeb Backpackers. The place is arranged nicely, we especially liked our wooden bed. They also make great wood-fired pizza. Everybody working their was friendly and courteous.

It was self-catering. The chalet was huge and the location was perfect. There was a lovely outside deck with a braai area and slight view of the green grassed camping area. There was a pond with ducks, a water feature and a huge sparkling swimming pool. A restuarant on the premises was a perfect addition with very friendly staff. Check in was also well managed. There is a small deli and supply store right next to the resort which is awesome. There is also a beauty salon right next door which I can recommend
