Modern, clean looking room. I really like the upper floor. Bed was very comfy. Shower was great, good water pressure and the showerhead was at a good height (at most of my stays elsewhere they are always too low, made for midgets).

Location was perfect for Kaitoke Regional Park and the Rivendale filming locations on our own. This was one of my favorite stops on both islands. Clean, large space, private. Breakfast at the cafe and gardens were amazing.

The chalet was spacious and very warm and cozy with the hit pump running, homely furnishings including a kitchen and washing machine. Staff were very helpful giving us a small amount of oil and salt and pepper. Nice having a bath. One of the staff members a tallish guy who was wearing a hi-viz vest in the grounds and who turned on the lighting at night was extremely friendly and helpful.
