Lots of kitchen items that work well with the 2 burner hotplate and microwave. The full sized fridge was appreciated. $4 for a load of washing at the park laundry room suited too. The kettle, toaster and microwave were ‘as new’. There was also a portable, electric hob with two hot plates. A COUNTDOWN store is 15 minutes walk away along Putiki Drive and the Whanganui River, and then a hop, step and a jump once across the City Bridge at the end of Victoria Avenue.
