the family was great, they were so friendly and generours to have us with them. Only Lina was able to speak English but nevertheless we were able to communicate with the husband and the kids. Lina is a great cook and she served us traditional food (simple). When we needed a lift they were always on time. The loft is nice and the best part of it is the balcony. The shower has hot water.

I honestly feel so lucky that I decided to stay at this place. The room is huge with a breathtaking view for sunset and sunrise. It’s completely quite and you feel alone with only nature and ducks around you. Carlos was such an amazing host, taking the time to explain to me the history of the lake, the culture. I was basically alone with him in the boat having a tour of the island, far from the mass tourism. If you truly want a one of a kind experience, book here and with no hesitation. Specially when I heard many people not having a good experience at lake, because they stayed at Puno or a different place. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have a complete opposite experience. Situated in Puno, Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru offers accommodation with views of the lake, and breakfast included every day. The property is 7 km from the city centre, and right in front of Titicaca lake.

We stayed one night at Titicaca Aruntswi Lodge and had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The room was exactly as shown in the photo, and we were provided with a gas heater and rustic electricity: not standard 220 VAC, but enough for lights and charging personal electronics via USB. Eddy and his parents are very kind, gentle people, and were wonderful hosts. We were picked up from our hotel and driven to a busy landing spot, where Eddy met us to take us via boat out to the lodge. The Uro community asks for a very modest S/. 5 per-person fee to help defray the impact of tourism. The floating island of the lodge was reasonably isolated and was surrounded at all times by an incredible diversity of waterfowl. We had three meals while there, from lunch to breakfast the next day, all of which were delicious. The view from the lodge out across the mountains, water channels, and the seemingly endless sea of reeds was spectacular and our stay, although brief, was one of the most memorable and worthwhile events of our time in Peru!

Our group of 4 loved our stay at this lodge on 10/1/23! It was clean, warm and above all the staff were amazing and treated us like family. The food was delicious and so was the wine and tea. Our bed had plenty of blankets that kept us warm and the water bottles they put in your bed at night just added to the coziness. The sunset was beautiful, at dusk many birds & ducks were flying around that were entertaining to watch & listen to. We were able to take the canoe out ourselves the following morning so I could spread my sons cremains on Lake Titicaca. The morning fog rising from the lake was beautiful and the sun popped out right afterwards. I'd definitely recommend this lodge to everyone!

I think it was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in! There are 3 houses on a floating island, owned by a father and a son. They are extremely nice people! The price is ridiculously small for what they offer. The view from the huge windows of the house is amazing, and so is the stay on the floating terrace.

    We had a fantastic stay on Uros. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had gorgeous views. Manuel and his family looked after us very well, from picking us up from the harbour to cooking a very tasty dinner in the evening. A highlight was having a hearty breakfast served on our sunny balcony with a stunning view of the lake. A very special place to sit back and relax.

    The islands were beautiful and staying on the Uros islands was a fantastic experience. The food was great including the free breakfast. We paid a little extra to get a balcony but it was definitely worth it as we had a double bed outside of our cabin right next to the lake which was a perfect spot to relax and sunbathe whilst recovering from altitude sickness.

    EVERYTHING ! The best bed of all Perou !! The room was very big and comfortable. The service was perfect, they respond very fast to any kind of demand. The breakfast is very good, one of the best in Perou. The location is perfect. We loved this hotel so much that we booked for another night. They have an offer of activities to do in Puno and a airport shuttle service.

    You really live on the lake with the family which has lived therefor over 50 years. The place is luxury compared to the hut they sleep in but this is still self-build so manage your expectations with respect tu running/warm water. We really enjoyed it. The family was very friendly and the dinner was great! Don't forget to ask them for a kajak, we paddled around the lake for 2 hours which was a lot of fun!

    Eddy and his family, including their dog, were so friendly and helpful. The shuttle service they provided was really punctual and the food was nicer than a lot of restaurants we have eaten in in Peru. The room was huge, the bed was comfy and the toilet was clean! The outdoor veranda was absolutely surreal for sunset.

    Eddy the host and his mother Salome were very very sweet and told us a lot about the selfmade island. The cabin was very cozy and there is an outside bed and terrace from which you can enjoy the breathtaking view on the lake Titicaca. For half the price of the room we were able to stay until 18:30. The transfer to Puno was very smooth. The breakfast was really great with fresh avocado, tomato, queso, juice, coffee and cake.
