Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a terrace, Quinta da Granja Gardener's cottage provides accommodation in Coimbra with free WiFi and mountain views. This property offers a private pool and free private parking.

The house and gardens were unique and exceptional, better than a home away from home. There were plenty of rooms to space out or spaces to come together. There was so much to explore and so many different aspects to discover. There were several beautiful eating areas, under the Grapevine, on the Colonial veranda and in the spacious kitchen. The gardens were huge and full of interest, from the banana trees to the pots of succulents and palm trees. It was so tastefully decorated with unique pieces of furniture and fascinating items from all over the world, a museum of antiquities. All in all a labyrinth of gorgeousness, full of ambience and grandeur. There were interesting and enchanting artefacts around every corner and everyday was a new discovery. There were so many delightful seating areas in which to relax and a place of calm and peacefulness all around. We especially loved the Balcony and views. Rose made us feel so welcome and treated us like one of the family and nothing was too much for her. We thank her and Brendan for the wonderful use of your Home. It was a total delight and feast for our senses.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The room was clean and functional, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. And most importantly, there was good heating in the room (I was there in January). Even though you can hear everything from the corridor, I didn't - it was really silent at night. Also, there were good window shutters so that you can actually darken the room, which was nice.

The room was good and the location of the hotel was very convenient. The breakfast was quite exceptional and provided a variety of food. The receptionist who helped me to book the airport shuttle bus for my departure was efficient, kind and helpful.

Super clean, comfortable room with light from 2 shuttered windows. Bathroom small but had all I needed. Wide corridors and lovely stairs and landings with windows and plants. Dining room with staggered continental breakfast included. And I got my coffee fix in the mornings ☺️

It was very clean, staff were sweet and even sent me photos via message about how to use the shower. It was very clean and completely dark in the mornings with the shutters closed. Location was a close walk to the old town.

Great location, full kitchen, toaster, oven, coffee machine and mokka, cleaning supplies. Big bathroom and nice common space. A/C was clean (not moldy like some places are). Quiet room and central. Bright but mostly indirect light. Shutters help keep the place cool.

The location is good, situated on the tourist street yet still quiet and comfortable. The facilities are all brand new and of excellent quality, and everything was sparkling clean. The rooms themselves were spacious, featuring high ceilings and typical Portuguese wooden windows with shutters. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated. There were double windows, wooden shutters and heavy curtains to block cold, light and outside noise. The sheets and pillows were good quality. The room, the bathroom and the comunal areas were very clean. The person that greeted me was friendly and welcoming.

The room was lovely and spacious, with high ceilings. The hard wooden floors were a bonus. the location was fantastic - we were no more than 10 minutes walk from the main sights - and the staff lovely and helpful. Despite being located on a bustling square (with a beautiful grassy area and fountain), the room was quiet and stayed dark with the curtains drawn thanks to the sound blocking windows and light blocking shutters. Would defo recommend!
