Our stay at Stonewood Lodge was great. To start with, the staff was really helpful and answered all our queries and requests before and during our trip. We stayed with our baby at la Casa Verde, a 1 bedroom accommodation overlooking a lovely green garden.The apartment has all the basics for our week long holiday, and we were able to cook breakfast and dinners for our little one. The location is fantastic to explore the island by car, only a 15 min drive from Ponta Delgada, and very convenient to get to and from the main sites. Stonewood Lodge also has customer parking, making it even easier for us to travel with our baby.

Parking is provided and the city centre is about a fifteen minute walk away. The space is well appointed with all the amenities that we required. The host was kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

She can’t speak English and I can’t speak Portuguese so we struggled to communicate but we did our best. it’s very close to the airport and perfect for early morning flights from Ponta Delgrada. it has a shutter blind which made the room dark and was perfect for an early night before an early flight.AAnonymousYoung couple
