The staff here are super friendly and so accommodating... the friendly feel and service absolutely made our holiday. The pool is gorgeous and maintained really well. The gardens and trees everywhere are gorgeous. The rooms are spotless and really well kept. Overall, you can tell that the staff have a lot of pride in this hotel and there are small touches everywhere to welcome you and make you feel at home e.g. flowers on the beds.

Off the beaten track , just 15 minutes from Nungwi and Kendwa’s party scene, lies Sazani Beach Lodge situated above a secluded cove.

Once our family beach house, Sazani Beach provides the hospitality of a private lodge.

Can’t recommend this place enough! The breakfast and location are on point. We got fresh fruit, juice, delicious french pressed coffee and we could chose from a selection of eggs with local pastries of the day. And to top it all off you can go for a morning dip on one of the most beautiful private beaches I’ve seen in Zanzibar. Its the perfect place to lounge in the sun, nestled between the rocks on the beach or just chill on the couches and read a book. The location is so private and peaceful, which isn’t easy to find these days in Zanzibar. The staff are lovely and there is such a chilled vibe which makes you feel right at home. Will definitely be back!

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Location + Price point + The huts were clean and eco friendly with modern cons like AC, modern lighting, showers. I liked the hospitality of host Mounir and the staff who were exceptionally thoughtful and anticipated your needs. No request was too small. I really appreciated the welcome I received. In house bbq was hosted with drinks which was a lovely touch. Also less hawkers on this side of the beach which let me enjoy the beach better.

The place is nice and quiet, with great amenities. It is a beachfront property so you will get direct access to the beach. Most of the huts are facing towards the beach with an outdoor seating area as well.
