The room matched the photos perfectly - minimalist, stylish, and cozy. The surroundings were simply breathtaking. Here, you could fully immerse yourself in nature and unwind completely. It was evident that Pollo had poured his heart and soul into this project, and it showed in every detail. Loved the chocolate tasting too! ... and yes, it's situated up the hill in the jungle, so a certain level of fitness is required, but the view from up there makes it all worthwhile.

Amazing location (literally on the beach), stunning views, great facilities (pool, clean showers, restaurant). Breakfast and dinner were incredible (I don't understand why people don't try the local dishes which exquisite instead of pasta/burger). It was the windy season but they provided ear plugs (they were necessary since the bedroom had no windows). No hot water in the shower although it's not necessary. Despite the Tayrona park being closed (mid February) we were still able to walk alongside the park and have amazing views. We took a bus to get there (if you ask them they drop you 10mn walk away) and hailed a public bus on the way back which is definitely the cost efficient way of getting there.

Offering a garden, Sierra Alta Finca Boutique is set in Bellavista, 13 km from Minca, 23 km from Santa Marta. A fridge and coffee machine are also available. Sierra Alta Finca is a wonderful and magical haven. It is really beautifully located in the jungle, looking out to the Caribbean Sea from 1600 metres above. The rooms are spread out over the delightfully landscaped grounds in separate lovely cottages. Everything is very tasteful and stylish. The owner, Pilar, and her team Danni, Fanni, Julia and José, made our stay relaxing, comfortable and memorable. Their genuine warmth and ready willingnes to help us was greatly appreciated and touched our hearts. The meals were delicious, wholesome, beautifully presented and sometimes created especially for our needs.

Offering a private beach area, Playa Pikua Ecolodge is a solar-powered property situated in Guachaca between two rivers and the Caribbean sea. Exceptional ecologde if you look for simplicity like us, living in bungalows made of wood with palm-leaf roofs. Everything so carefully designed and constructed, you feel connected to nature. No speakers allowed, lighting dimmed by natural materials, makes it very quiet and peaceful day and night. Nice communal building with sofas, hammocks and yoga mats. Location is great, right by the wonderful almost pristine beach. A few hotels/hostels nearby, embedded among the palm trees, with some very nice low key restaurants with chairs in the sand. Very friendly staff, served great breakfast on our own veranda.
