The chalet boasts a variety of wellness options, including wellness packages, a steam room and yoga classes. Barbecue facilities are provided at the chalet complex, and guests can also relax in the garden or go on a picnic in the picnic area. We (1 couple) stayed for 3 days in this beautiful lodge. The lodge is directly located on top of a small plateau of a mountain. The view we had up there is just amazing. The Arenal is exposed really good and sitting at the outside table was a beautiful experience. It is really quiet most of the time, because there is no neighbors. Only during the night it can get a bit loud due to strong winds or rain. The kitchen and bathroom/shower facilties seem really modern. You need a 4x4 car to climb the asphalted road and get to the lodge. The owners were really friendly and communicating was always fast (Whatsapp).

Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake Arenal, the Arenal Volcano and Cerro Chato. Amazing location with one of the best views on the volcano and lake Arenal. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Good quality food and very nice spa. Wish I would stay there longer!

The bathrooms have hot water showers .Homemade soap, linens and towels included The place is very well integrated in the nature and environment, very beautiful and relaxing. Many activities included in the price which kept us busy for 2 days (farm tour, yoga, pools). Very professional, friendly and polite staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Very good eat-as-you-want meals. We were picked up at the bus stop in La Fortuna which was very helpful.
