Barbecue facilities are provided at the chalet, and guests can also relax in the garden or go on a picnic in the picnic area. We (1 couple) stayed for 3 days in this beautiful lodge. The lodge is directly located on top of a small plateau of a mountain. The view we had up there is just amazing. The Arenal is exposed really good and sitting at the outside table was a beautiful experience. It is really quiet most of the time, because there is no neighbors. Only during the night it can get a bit loud due to strong winds or rain. The kitchen and bathroom/shower facilties seem really modern. You need a 4x4 car to climb the asphalted road and get to the lodge. The owners were really friendly and communicating was always fast (Whatsapp).

Rancho Margot is a very special place with lots of activities for all ages. The entire ranch is sustained on renewable energy and all of the agricultural products are organic.

The chalet also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The views were wonderful, just what we needed. The lake really brought some peace for us. Being able to enjoy some of the tourist attractions and returning to the quiet open spaces of the love cabin was very special for us. The cabin provided plenty of room for us. We enjoyed our mornings on the deck and had great views of the volcano daily. Definitely a place we will return to
