Poppii was very welcoming and prepared for us an AMAZING salmon soup that we'll never forget. The cottage is very clean and feels very new. The fireplace is very warm and safe and easy to use. The sauna is perfect, and the ability to go sit by your own personal pier with a coffee ( or swim in the cold cold lake) is just splendid. The lake is beautiful. A real slice of paradise that we won't forget — thank you Poppii !

He even picked me up from Porvoo bus station when he learned I'm coming by public transport and drove me back there when leaving (the property is a bit outside of the town). This little old fairytale house is one of the coziest and most charming places I have ever stayed at. Besides having everything needed, it significantly added to the overall experience of my trip.
