We even saw an orangutan before we arrived at the bungalows. The staff is friendly and the rooms where nice and had an amazing view.

I especially liked how respectful Johnny was with these amazing creatures, ensuring we keep a respectful distance but giving me lots of time to observe and enjoy. the overnight stay was highly memorable, we had PI as our private cook who cooked 5 different delicious dishes and a very tasty breakfast. can only highly recommend visiting Bukit Lawang and am sure there is not better way to experience it by staying at green Travelodge.

Our guides and lodge staff members were absolutely amazing - made the stay and the jungle trek so much fun and took care of us so well. We asked for a little bit of an off-the-beaten-track trail and that is exactly what we got. The food during the trek was delicious - fresh fruit and amazing chicken and tofu dishes for dinner in the jungle. We saw so many monkeys and made really good friends during our stay. Also, the orangutan card game in the jungle left us all laughing into the night. Our hosts also arranged our transportation to and from bukit lawang so it was super easy for us. Absolutely perfect experience in the jungle, would recommend staying and trekking with this jungle lodge for an authentic experience with the best company.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Rooms were very clean and neat and an easy walk towards the forest or shops nearby!
