Wonderful cottages, equipped with everything you might need to relax and enjoy dinner in a super nice environment. Hot tube was fantastic, cottages are spread far from each other; the views are unbelievable, a little paradise in the nature. The owners were super nice to give us a second cottage at a friendly price because the 2 bed room one was allready booked. On top, they allowed us to stay till 4PM as we had an unforeseen issue with out car. We will certainly come back!

Since the moment I arrived, the owner Gudrun received me with open arms and gave me a map right away with places to visit around Snaefellsnes! She was very sweet and caring! The cabin was absolutely wonderful, equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The dinner both night was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The lamb and the pasta were SOOOOO GOOD! Worth it every penny! The breakfast was also wonderful. Gudrun really cares about her visitors, and you can truly tell by the way she helps and is always available, plus she’s a wonderful cook! As a solo traveler, it truly made me feel like home, which honestly, was the best! I’ve been in Iceland for 2 weeks now and have stayed at 10 different places, this one has been BY FAR! The best! What a wonderful stay!

The hot tub was a real treat. Its cosy and small but has everything you need, we cooked dinner and then slept under the stars!

It was easy to find. The key was easy to get. The host was very communicative. It had all the necessary items in the kitchen for preparing food and enough glasses and plates and utensils for everyone. There was a dishwasher if you needed to use it and I loved that there was also a cupboard of leftover food (no waste!). There were also a few board games that we played (twister, othello, and a puzzle). There was also a TV, but we did not use it. One of the rooms was upstairs, but it was easy to get to and the bed was comfortable. There was heating in the house so you willl not be cold. If you wanted (and if it wasn´t raining) you could even barbeque and sit on the porch (which we did not use because it was raining). If you want a get away, this is the place.

The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

That was the biggest highlight of our trip! Such a cosy and charming place in the middle of nature. The kids loved playing outside, and we loved our evenings stargazing the aurora boreales. The owner was also particularly helpful and responsive. My whole family would go back in a heartbeat!!!
