Located in Hakuba, 12 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Hakuba Amber Resort by Jade Group offers accommodation with a hot tub. Highly recommended for a big family.

With Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable in 9 km, Sakka Sanso features accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms are cute, clean, and surprisingly spacious for Japan. They have two steaming hot onsens that can be booked for private bathing times. Everyone who works here is so sweet and kind. The food is delicious, we ate in the restaurant for breakfast every morning (alternating Japanese and western style meals) and most dinners too! Delicious katsu, teriyaki chicken, beef rice bowls, and veggie tempura! We tried a few other restaurants around Hakuba but we kept coming back to Sakka Sanso! They also picked us up and dropped us off at Hakuba Station, helped us arrange taxi rides, tours and gear rentals, and they got us lift tickets at a discount. Add in the awesome location right next to the 3 Sakka lifts and we can't wait to return to Sakka Sanso!

Pension Ringo-no Ki is a completely non-smoking property located in Hakuba. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. There is a hairdryer, free toiletries and slippers on site.

Ringo-Noki is the most beautiful little Lodge, with only around 6 rooms, in Hakuba run by the very lovely couple of Yoshi-San and his wife Kayo. Everything was perfect about this place, the decoration, the service provided by Yoshi and Kayo, the delicious breakfast, the cleaness, the beautiful onsen to use everyday after a full day of activities. When arriving you were directly greeted with tea and the stunning common area. All rooms also have coffee and tea for you to make and use at your convenience. Right next to the lodge is the bus stop for the free shuttle and within walking distance you have several nice and delicious restaurants, cafés and bakery and other shops. Can highly recommend this location.

At Le Bocage – Hakuba Echoland Chalets, free shuttle services are provided to and from local supermarkets and Hakuba Station during the winter season. Ski storage is available at the reception house. Host was helpful before and throughout the trip. Good location with eateries around. Clean and spacious apartment.

The air conditioned rooms have carpeted floors, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a refrigerator. Each comes with slippers and free toiletries. We really enjoyed the staff in the hotel. Yutaka and his wife were very nice and made our stay here very pleasant.

A 15-minute drive from Pilatus Ski Resort, chalet-like Nomanomori offers quaint Western rooms. It features a garden with a terrace, free Wi-Fi and a cosy lounge with a fireplace. Breakfast features home-made breads. Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Free WiFi is available at the entire property and guests can reserve a private open-air bath overlooking the forest. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. The hosts picked us up at the bus terminal and gave us all sorts of local transport info on getting to the different ski resorts. The private onset was awesome!! Bathroom across the hall but still for our private use. The room made good use of space and felt much larger. I wish they did breakfast, but otherwise it was a fantastic stay!

We have a variety of beautiful and well appointed chalets, located in prime areas centered around the Happo ski resort in Hakuba. All quiet but convenient locations close to restaurants, ski slopes and shuttle bus stops. Forest or mountain views and plenty of fresh, clean mountain air! Fully equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms, streaming channels and top quality mattresses for a comfortable nights sleep. The house is clean, nice, spacious for my family 4 adults with 2 kids. The staffs were all very friendly. They helped us with dinner reservations and arrange for the transportation. Amenities in the house are so complete without any worries. We enjoyed cooking too. They even helped to store the proposal decoration stuffs.

Situated just a 5-minute walk away from Happo One Ski Resort in Hakuba, ZEN CHALETS Hakuba offer fully equipped chalets with a bedroom, a living room and a kitchen. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. If there had been snow, the location would have been excellent. The lodging was cozy, spacious, and relaxing. We ended up spending a lot of time inside, since it was rainy, and we didn't get to ski as much as originally hoped. We were conveniently able to get rides from the staff to go to the market, and get to/from the bus station.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. JR Hakuba Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. Everything is perfect. We had an excellent at week there. Toshi and his wife are excellent hosts. He drove us to/from bus terminal slopes, ski rental shops/supermarkets. He was so nice that sometimes we don't want to ask him for a ride. The kitchen is well equipped ranging from rice cooker, microwave, oven, fridge, sukiyaki pot, coffee maker, various sizes of dish and bowl, etc.
