It is set in the beautiful hills just outside Luang Prabang and the lodge went above and beyond my expectations. Frederic, his wife and the other members of staff are so attentive but relaxed at the same time. The food is delicious and the hut itself was perfect. There is a great variety of food to choose from, both for breakfast and other meals (mix of Asian and Mediterranean). We had dinner here every night because it was so good. There also 4 lovely dogs. We rented a scooter which made it easy to get in and out of the town and also explore the surrounding area. Nahm Dong national park is 5 minutes (walking) down the road and was much less touristy than the other waterfalls we visited and has amazing swimming spots. If I could rate it 11 out of 10 I would!
