We loved that there’s a nice place next to the house to have a breakfast or dinner. Our kids liked playing with the cats of the owner. And the host himself is so friendly and hospitable! Always asking how we were and if everthing was OK. He even gave my daughter some money when we were leaving!

Congo Bungalow is a cabin located directly on the Bojana River, in Gornji Štoj, a village in south-west Montenegro. Guests can enjoy the peaceful surroundings from the sun terrace, and swim in the river. The beach is only a 15-minute walk from the cabin. The Congo Bungalow exceeded our expectations. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Although it was off-season, the property was maintained as if it were a hotel with guests and cleaning staff circulating all the time. The property had beautiful patio furniture and the indoor amenities were plentiful (i.e. kitchen was stocked, bathroom was stocked, laundry room was stocked, etc.) The tranquility of this location is unbeatable - especially since the area is considered a quiet zone. The extra blankets in the bedrooms were perfect for putting on our laps as we read our books on the beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Also, as a note - please make sure to communicate with the host on how to arrive to the location. It was a little tricky going under the bridge where it felt like we were going in the wrong direction, but obviously we weren't.

This rustic-style accommodation provides a TV and a living room. There is a full kitchen with a microwave. Featuring a hairdryer, the private bathroom also comes with towels. The view from the cottage takes your breath away whenever you look out the window especially from the upper floor. The cottage is very chic, stylished and there is nothing missing. Dinner can be prepared easy, it is a very good and fast stove, a large refrigerator and even the crockery is carefully chosen. The road to the cottage also offers thrills, but it's worth every kilometer for the view it offers. The host is the most wonderful and friendly person. She helped us with everything we needed, gave us recommendations where to eat very tasty and trips in the area. She also spoiled us with surprises for which we thank her very much. Everything is wonderful and I recommend this cottage like a fairy tale!
