The chalet is a little outside of the main town area which makes it really secluded and peaceful. We had such fun feeding the sheep and deer right next to our chalet!

A 15 min walk down to the town was perfect and another couple of minutes to the beach. The cottage was great and had everything we needed for our couple days. Highly recommend this cottage it's a perfect base for exploring Akaroa!
