We even got blankets to chill on one of the many couches when it got chilly in the evening. The pool is great, big and clean. The room was nice and generous. The food was incredible! Great portions and super yummy for an affordable price. They also had no issues preparing something vegetarian for us. We loved the breakfast as well, it was the best we had during our entire 2-month vacation.

The room and restaurant area were very clean. Edgar, the manager, was exceptional. We saw condors and eagles throughout the entire day. The bed was comfortable, and the blankets kept us warm. The water from the shower was hot. It was a wonderful stay!

We've spent almost 3 weeks at different places in Peru, but if I may pick up the one where we felt treated like family members, that would definitely be Killawasi Lodge. Cosy rooms, exceptional hospitality and beautiful lookouts were just the beginning. As there was no available guide for the day we needed, the hotel manager took us for a short afternoon walk in the neighbourhood. He explained us everything we wanted to know and the day we finished at the hotel restaurant enjoying first-class meals made of local products. If going to the Colca canyon, "the Moonhouse" should be your #1 choice!

We had a nice welcome from Alfredo and the staff. The rooms are basic but with a sufficient comfort to rest after a trek, and the shower is nice and warm. The place is really nice with a access to the river where it is possible to swim, and to the swimming pool with a nice temperature. Ideal to have a resting moment after the hard walk ! Alfredo prepares meals for 25 soles and there’s beers and a tiny tienda to buy stuff. Definitely a heaven’s place in a nice landscape !
