Hotel was a big surprise! From other reviews I expected bit neglected object, that requires renovation. And reality was so much better! OK, rooms look bit dated, but on the other hand, all equipment is so good quality, that is still in perfect condition. Also, everything is super clean and room was very spacious. Garage is unexpesive and very convenient. Ski storage room is great - spacious and warm. Breakfast buffet is decent. Sauna is small, but nice.

Very well-equipped kitchen, comfortable rooms with separate bathrooms, huge living room, wonderful view, great location. Murau center is a few minutes' walk away. Clean, nice and big apartment. All the rooms are big, the kitchen has all you need. The beds are confortable and the shower is big and great. There is also a big terrace with nice views which we didn't really use because it was freezing outside.
The location was perfect for us, just 10-15 mins to Kreischberg ski by car. You also have supermarkets and restaurants around.

Very nice place, possibly a destination for an extended weekend - nice historic city centre, a castle overlooking the centre and a gorgeous cityscape overlooking the crystal clear Mur river. There's also a chapel on the opposite hillside, plus you can do the Sölktal mountain pass road while you're there.
At the train station there was a couple of old steam engines, not sure if they ever have them running for the public to enjoy.

A pretty and old small town, and we had a nice walk through the centre. But we were only there for a stopover and there was not enough to keep us there longer because we were in the middle of a long journey.
The breakfast had a wide variety of food and drinks, for anyone with a sweet or not-so-sweet tooth as well. The Hungarian couple who owns the hotel is extremely kind, friendly and helpful and they can be found every day at breakfast (or contacted via phone outside of breakfast hours). The hotel is located at the center and historic district of Murau with multiple restaurants in a 2 minute walk radius.
Great view over the historic town Murau from the living room, quiet location, very friendly and helpful owners. I thought we would need wheel chains to climb up the last steeper section of the road after snowfall, but the road was cleaned of snow and graveled with a tractor. Still, winter tyres are a must. The accommodation is equipped with everything you would need to cook.
Room was spotless and newly painted in 2021. The bed was so comfortable and we later learned that they were new in 2023. It is obvious that the owners take pride in their family run hotel. We also ate dinner in the hotel and the food was excellent. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection of hot and cold items.
The Hotel offers nice, clean and functional rooms. We had 3* category and it is very good, the stuff was very, very nice and friendly. But the real surprise was the Restaurant the Food and Service is absolute splendid! Even if you don't stay in this Hotel you have to have Diner in this place, great!
This was a great place to stay, we had large rooms with a balcony where we could relax, the beer garden and food were really tasty and the staff looked after us. The birthday cake they gave us was delicious and my brother is now a convert to Sachertorte. Oh and they brew their own beer - delicious.
Spacious studio. Nice space for kids to sleep beneath the roof accessible by ladder. Welcome beer and chocolate for kids. Warm and clean. Ski area nearby (5 min by car). Very nice city of Murau in walking distance (actually the stay is just next to the city center - on the other side of the river).
Super well equipped, large, clean and quiet apartment. Lidl supermarket is 3 minutes on foot. Kreischberg ski pistes is ~10 minutes by car. Easily fits ~ 5-6 people (room upstairs is extra large with a single and a double bed + some extra sleeping pad on the small "attic"). Floor heating.
Great family-owned hotel with super friendly staff, top facilities (especially for sauna lovers) and fantastic restaurant on site. A place to experience Austrian hospitality, culture, food & wine with 2 lovely ski resorts nearby. 100% recommend for a truly authentic experience :).
This was a lovely house on the beginning of hill slope, with amazing views to 4 sides. Morning, day time, and evening views are just wonderful. The apartment is very spacious, normally equipped. And very quiet! 7 km to reach Kreischberg ski area. The hosts were very friendly.
Everything about this accommodation was great. Big beautiful apartment, fully equipped kitchen, clean, luxury and
a short distance from the ski resort Kreischberg. The owners are very kind and helpful. We will come again next year.
Lot of space, two bathrooms, spotless clean house. Enough rooms for teenage kids to cave in... Good parking place for the car, access to locked garage for the ski equipment. 6 minutes to Kreischberg by car.
Great value for money, excellent breakfast. The Biergarten attached to the hotel was wonderful. Underground parking was nice. I would absolutely stay again.
Beautiful building in alpine style. Spacious parking lot, at the reception greeted me the cook. Inside quite cozy. slept well after one, did not watch tv.
